Are beginners welcome if I have almost no astronomy experience?
Yes. Our meetups are designed for first-time skywatchers and longtime hobbyists together. We explain what were observing in plain language and always leave room for questions.
Do I need a telescope or any special equipment?
Not at all. You can come with just your eyes. Binoculars are helpful but optional, and members often share views through their scopes during group observations.
What should I bring to a meetup night?
Dress for the weather, bring water, and consider a small notebook. A red-light flashlight is useful for preserving night vision, but its okay if you dont have one yet.
How are new observation notes and meetup announcements shared?
We post updates on the Notes and Meetups pages with clear dates, sky conditions, and location details. Joining the club helps you stay informed as new items are published.
What is the club atmosphere like during events?
Calm, friendly, and collaborative. People share observations at their own pace, help each other identify objects, and keep the focus on learning together under the night sky.
